NOTTBOXX Story
NOTTBOXX was founded with a mission to revolutionize access to convenient, healthy food options in densely populated food-dessert areas, where quick and nutritious meals are often hard to come by. We believe one of our greatest value and opportunity is supporting large construction sites, where time and staying on schedule are business critical. By eliminating the need for workers to leave the site and access meals on their work schedules, we will enhance productivity, efficiency, and convenience, establishing a new norm in food accessibility.
The inspiration for NOTTBOXX came from the idea of merging two proven solutions: vending machines and shipping containers. Founder Daryl Arbuthnott identified a growing demand for vending services in locations with high concentrations of users. With this insight, he focused on the construction industry, where workers often face limited healthy onsite food options and sufficient time to access meals. The answer? Combining the portability and durability of shipping containers with the convenience of temporarily deploy vending machines, creating the first NOTTBOXX kiosk.
Co-founder Donald Austin soon joined the project, bringing his analytical skills and innovative thinking to push the concept forward. With both founders leveraging years of executive-level experience in the public sector, NOTTBOXX, LLC was born. Recognizing the need for specialized expertise, they brought on a third partner, Nathan Arbuthnott, who brought his extensive construction background to the team. Nathan’s industry knowledge helped solidify NOTTBOXX’s ability to serve construction sites and other high-traffic venues by providing reliable, convenient food solutions.
Today, NOTTBOXX continues to lead the way in offering cutting-edge food service solutions tailored to the needs of busy, high-density locations. By combining innovation with practical, industry-specific insights, NOTTBOXX is setting a new standard for onsite convenience and productivity.
